Diksha

 What is Diksha?

The word diksha is used in Eastern spiritual traditions. It describes the transference of high spiritual energy from a teacher/guru to an initiate, which leaves a permanent change in the consciousness of the initiate and marks the beginning of taking on a serious spiritual discipline.

There are various forms of diksha and different ways in which diksha can be received, i.e. through touch, sight, word or mantra, ritual or ceremony. The word is derived from the Sanskrit root da ("to give") plus ki ("to destroy") or alternately from the verb root dik ("to consecrate").

This activation process is not comparable to a Reiki Initiation or other energetic attunement methods. A diksha is an 'opening' to non-dual consciousness. This power/reality given cannot be "taken away". What you know you know.

If for some reason you are not able to attend a full intensive to receive diksha, you have the opportunity to receive diksha by appointment. You need to schedule at least 30 min which includes follow-up e-mail support. Prior to it, we will both decide, if taking diksha is a good step for you to take at this time or not.
